Launch of Scram Recordings on Bandcamp

Well, it certainly took a long time for me to get around to making one but here it is: http://scramrecordings.bandcamp.com

You can find the 5 albums/EPs/whatever we made this summer during our brief time in Kansas City.  I put a price of $.50 a song.  I hope it's worth it to ya!

NPR...Huge Success!

Intro-juicing NPR, here is The Almighty Peoples' Emcee (T.A.P.E.) and Omega Shinron's debut show.

This is what they had to say-

Omega Shin-Shin:  "Peelin back the whack to expose the freshness.  Opening another bag of dank to get the vapors for the auditory.  New poor rappers are here to call out all fake hustlin bustas to step n get got."

T.A.P.E.:   "Well what npr is trying to do is keep hip hop reall hip hop alive.  We love the art and i feel like it's being diluted in the main stream so we're keepin it alive and more importantly real."  Then T.A.P.E. said "http://www.reverbnation.com/newpoorrappers"

KHANA RUNG THAWI (คณะ รุ่งทวี) - แห่สดดนตรีพื้นบ้านหนองโก ชุดที่ 8 + 9 (hae sot dontri phuen ban nong ko, vols. 8 & 9) (20??)

This album is:  frantic, exciting, psychedelic, mind blowing, and essential.  I think it's Thai.  It takes up almost a full hour and is split into two parts (vol. 8 & 9).  It's all pretty much like the clip here.

Thanks มนต์รักเพลงไทย!

Ros Sereysothea - Boiled Snail Girl (2001)

You want? You can have!

Cambodian Pop from the Phnom Penh's "Golden Voice of the Royal Capital."  These songs were recorded in the 1970's.  Unfortunately, no one really knows what happened to her and is presumed dead after the fall of the capital in 1975.
